Berry Green Tea Antioxidant Smoothie

Chock full of nutrients this smoothie is great for quick, easy and rather delicious breakfast, or simply a healthy snack.

What You Need:

3/4 cup green tea (brewed and cooled)
2 cups frozen berries
8 ounces non-fat vanilla yogurt (substitute with milk for a thinner smoothie)
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
2 tablespoons wheat germ
A little honey to sweeten if needed

What to Do:

  1. Bring water to a boil and pour over tea bags, steep for 3 – 4 minutes.

  2. Remove tea bags and chill tea – to save time you can do this overnight.

  3. Combine berries, tea, yogurt, wheatgerm and flaxseed in blender.

  4. Process until smooth.
